Itinerary

• Day 1: Alphen – Zaltbommel

  Your captain and hostess welcome you with Cava. After introductions, we cruise the Meuse, passing through the lock at Lith. Via the Sint Andries lock, we enter the Waal and head for Zaltbommel. Enjoy the views while we look after food and drinks, including lunch prepared on board. We arrive in Zaltbommel during the afternoon.

  Zaltbommel is a charming fortified town on the Waal, known for its historic centre, old city walls and striking Sint-Maartenskerk. Cafés, shops and picturesque old streets are a short walk from the harbour.

  We have arranged bicycles for you to explore the surrounding area.

• Day 2: Zaltbommel – Dordrecht

  Fresh coffee, tea and a small breakfast await you aboard. While you enjoy your coffee, we cast off for Dordrecht. A generous brunch is served along the way.

  Dordrecht is a historic waterfront city with old harbours, monumental warehouses and a lively centre. Attractive façades, shops, restaurants and terraces are within walking distance of the harbour.

  We have booked a boat tour of Dordrecht's historic centre. Afterwards, dine at a restaurant of your choice and stay in the hotel we have arranged for you.

• Day 3: Dordrecht – Willemstad

  Enjoy breakfast on board again today, followed by a generous brunch as we cruise towards Willemstad.

  Willemstad is a charming fortified town on the Hollands Diep, known for its star-shaped defences, historic buildings and welcoming harbour. Its old streets, restaurants and terraces are a short walk away.

  In Willemstad, you can take a beautiful walk along the ramparts and historic fortifications. Make the walk as short or as long as you like.

  If there is space in the old town harbour, we will moor there, giving you a view of the yacht from the restaurant. Once again, your hotel has been booked for you.

• Day 4: Willemstad – Heusden

  The aroma of fresh coffee welcomes you aboard as we head across the Hollands Diep and Amer towards Heusden, passing the Biesbosch before joining the Meuse.

  For the final evening of the cruise, enjoy a captain's dinner aboard with the captain and hostess, followed by a relaxed evening over drinks.

  After this enjoyable evening, you stay in a hotel in Heusden.

• Day 5: Heusden – Alphen (home port)

  Enjoy a leisurely morning, then come to the yacht for coffee and a light breakfast.

  We cruise the Meuse and pass through the lock at Lith once more. From there, it is a short cruise to our home port in Alphen.

  You head home during the afternoon with wonderful experiences and memories.
